Terms and Conditions of Sale for Macready Theatre Events Only 
The purchase of a ticket entitles the bearer to access the event named, at the time and date detailed on the ticket. Please check your ticket/s carefully on receipt. 

Tickets remain the property of Macready Theatre. The reselling of a ticket for profit or commercial gain makes it void. 
Discounted ticket/s are offered with proof of entitlement only and are not retrospectively applicable. 

Macready Theatre is committed to providing access to all and is happy to make any reasonable adjustment to ensure you enjoy your visit. If you have any specific concerns regarding accessibility and any specific requirements you have, please contact our Theatre Manager prior to your visit. Guide and Hearing dogs are welcome, other animals are not permitted in the premises. 

Strobe lighting, smoke effects and raised sound levels may be used in events and performances, Macready Theatre will display signage to this effect clearly at the entrance to the event. If you have any concerns, please contact our Theatre Manager prior to the event. 

If you are making a booking on behalf of a group, you are responsible for all payments due from the group and must ensure they are made aware of these terms and conditions. Macready Theatre reserves the right to place restrictions on the volume of any tickets ordered. 

All tickets and fees are non-refundable. Tickets can be exchanged for another performance of the same production, up to 48-hours ahead of the advertised start time and subject to availability. Where the new performance is of a higher cost, the price difference will be charged, but if lower, we regret we will not be able to offer a refund. 

COVID: If you cannot attend a live event because you or a member of your household is showing the symptoms of COVID-19, you are entitled to a voucher holding the same value as the tickets, you must contact the Theatre Manager at least 2 hours before the advertised start time of the performance. We cannot offer vouchers retrospectively. 

Macready Theatre is happy to offer a full refund or offer to exchange your ticket/s (to the same value) for another event if we cancel or alter in a material way an event, as advertised. In the event of a cancelled performance Macready Theatre is not liable for additional travel or accommodation expenses. 

Macready Theatre will not be liable in any way if an event or performance is abandoned due to any factors which are beyond our reasonable control such as, acts of god: including earthquakes, storms, flooding: power failure or fire: force majeure: including war, terrorist acts, and civil commotion. 

Programme events start at the time advertised and we reserve the right to delay or refuse admittance of latecomers if in the opinion of Macready Theatre this would affect the enjoyment of the audience or the performance of the artists. Macready Theatre reserves the right to refuse admission to any customer or to request any ticket holder to leave if in the opinion of Macready Theatre admission may cause a risk to the safety of audience, staff or performers. Or if admission may negatively affect the performance or our audience’s experience of it in any from. The terms of our licence agreement require us to refuse admittance to any person in a state of intoxication or whose conduct is deemed to cause any breach of the peace. 

Unauthorised recording, photography and copying of any artistic performance, work or film within Macready Theatre is not permitted. Application can be made for specific, limited, personal, educational or press purposes by contacting the Theatre Manager. On rare occasions the show or event may be filmed or recorded. Buying a ticket affirms your consent to the filming and sound recording of yourself as a member of the audience. If you have any objection, should this happen when you attend a show or event, please contact the Theatre Manager. 

For the enjoyment of all visitors, Macready Theatre requests mobile phones are turned off during a performance and ask that you refrain from talking through a performance. 

Smoking is not permitted during any event or within Macready Theatre. 

Drinks may be purchased from the bar and taken into the auditorium. Only food purchased at Macready Theatre is allowed to be consumed on the premises, no hot food is allowed to be brought on-site. 

Macready Theatre accepts no responsibility for personal property of customers. You remain responsible for any loss, theft or damage to your belongings. Macready Theatre is committed to providing quality service, facilities and programme.
