Join us this Spring for a musical like no other: Stephen Sondheim’s 1987 masterpiece Into the Woods in a brand-new production directed by Tim Coker and choreographed by Ellen Finlay.  

You may think you know the story of Red Riding Hood, of Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel, Cinderella, of witches and giants…but be prepared to think again in a show which turns tables on fairy-tale endings and where happy-ever-afters really don’t exist, where children don’t listen and grown-ups don’t have all the answers. This is a fable for the modern world told in a vividly colourful and boundlessly creative way as only Sondheim can, featuring some of his best-loved songs including Hello Little Girl, Agony and the toe-tapping title song Into the Woods. 

This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International.
